Sunflower Crisp Cookies

1 c butter
1 c sugar
1 ea egg
1 t vanilla
2 c flour, sifted
1/2 t salt
3 c corn flakes, Crushed
1/2 c salted, roasted sunflower nuts
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Blend in flour, salt, and corn flake crumbs, reserving 1/2 cup crumbs.
Stir in nuts. Chill dough thoroughly. Shape dough into 1" balls. Roll balls in remaining crumbs to coat evenly. Place, two inches apart, on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
