Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resorts Corn Bread

1 c butter (2 sticks), room temperature
2 1/4 c sugar
4 extra large eggs
2 c yellow cornmeal
1 3/4 c cake flour
1 T baking powder
1 t salt
2 c sour cream
Preheat oven to 350. Butter 9" x 13" pan, muffin tins, or loaf pans and dust with sugar; set aside.
In a large bowl, with a mixer, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating with each addition, until mixture is smooth.
In a separate bowl, combine cornmeal, cake flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add all at once along with sour cream to batter and mix just until blended. Pour into prepared baking utensil and bake in a preheated oven about 40 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into center comes our clean.
