1 lb beef, ground
2 lb onions, Sliced
6 garlic cloves, minced (or less)
6 oz tomato paste (or use about 8 oz cre, am of tomato soup)
6 c kidney beans
4 oz green chili peppers, chopped (2 can, s)
2 T chili powder
2 t oregano (or less)
1/4 c oil
Saute onions in oil.
Add ground beef and cook until brown.
Add remaining ingredients including liquid from kidney beans.
Simmer covered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. (You may need to add more water during simmering.)
