California Almond Pie

1 9" pie shell, Unbaked
1/2 c light brown sugar
2 T cake flour
1 1/4 c light corn syrup
3 T butter
1/4 t salt
3 eggs
1 t vanilla extract
1/2 t almond extract
1 1/2 c almonds, Sliced

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Mix brown sugar & flour in a saucepan.
Add corn syrup, buter & salt & warm over low heat just until butter melts. Beat eggs w/vanilla & almond extracts.
Add to sugar mixture & stir. Turn into unbaked 9" pie shell. Sprinkle well with almonds. Bake 35-50 minutes.
