Buttermilk Cheese Loaf
2 c flour
1/2 t baking soda
1 1/2 t baking powder
2 t dry mustard
1 t salt
1 c cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c buttermilk
1/4 c oil
2 eggs
In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients & cheese. Set aside. Beat buttermilk, oil & eggs with rotary beater until well blended.
Add all at once to flour mixture & mix just until moist. pour into a greased 9x5x3 inch pan & bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minuts or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Invert on rack & cool. Makes one loaf.
