Tobruk

Captain Berghman: Sorry, we have no tea. Perhaps you'll settle for chocolate. Captain Berghman: Very British of you, Major.
Major Craig: It's suicide. Colonel Harker: It's orders.
Alfie: I never did trust 'em. Once a Jerry, always a Jerry. Dolan: Once a thief, always a thief, That right Alfie?
Captain Berghman: If those tanks reach El Alamein, the Germans have Egypt. Colonel Harker: They may have the lock, but we have the key. Without fuel, Jerry goes *nowhere*!
Dolan: You know the orders. No fraternizing. Alfie: Who's fraternizing? I only asked if he's got bullets in that chopper. I don't him to take his play-acting too much to heart.
Colonel Harker: No flanking scouts. If we were an attack force, they'd have little chance.
Major Craig: My mother didn't raise any heroes.
Sergeant Major Tyne: Taking orders from a ruddy Kraut. What's this bleeding war coming to?
Major Craig: I'll say one thing for the Germans, they certainly know how to build an engine. Captain Berghman: It doesn't cost much, either, when they use slave labor. Two hundred Jew power, Major. Major Craig: We all know what's going on in Europe. Captain Berghman: Well, if you do, if you really do, there must be a little of the Jew in you. Major Craig: They say there's a little of the Jew in everyone. Captain Berghman: Jah, a little of the Nazi, too.
Cheryl Portman: "Mohnfeld"... Odd name for a German officer? Lt Max Mohnfeld: (confused) We can't *all* be named *Schmidt*, Fraulien Portman.
Major Craig: A dead martyr is just another corpse!
