Stymie: (praying to save his dog from the pound) Dear Lord, that Petey is the only friend I've got. I just gotta have five dollars somehow. (a five-dollar bill blows out of a woman's hand and, floating about a block down the street, lands a few feet in front of where Stymie is sitting) Stymie: Boy, that's what I call service!
Woman: Is he a vegetarian? Stymie: Unh-uh. He's just like me, he's a Methodist.
Stymie: Ya ain't got any loose food layin' around that ya ain't usin', has ya, Mrs Lady?
Diner attendant: What do you want to eat? Stymie: I wanna double order of ham and eggs, and I want a piece of pie, and I want a cup a... cup a coffee. Diner attendant: You must be hungry. Stymie: Boy, and how, I could eat a rubber boot! Diner attendant: Got any money? Stymie: Nope. Diner attendant: Well, then how do you expect to eat? Stymie: Well, we don't expect to, we just want to!
