The Bumblebee Flies Anyway
1999
Cassie: If you had a mirror that only reflected what you used to be, would you want to look into it?
Billy: You're the normal one, right? The one who doesn't die in the end?
Barney Snow: (writing a note to himself) My name is Barney Snow. I was in a car crash. Red. (folds the paper and sticks it under a desk lamp, then sighs and removes it) Great. I can't even remember my own name, how am I going to remember to look there?
Barney Snow: Are the others beyond hope? Dr Harriman: No. Beyond curing maybe, but never beyond hope.
Barney Snow: Billy, you're going to get in trouble riding around this late. Billy: What are they going to do, kill me?
Allie Roon: G... gr... gr... g-g-great ass.
Barney Snow: I'm a blank page, and all that gets written on it is people dying.
Cassie: I blab, nervous habit. Barney Snow: Blab on... I like the sound of it.
Billy: C'mon Mazzo, get in. Mazzo: I can walk. Billy: And I can tap dance, get in the chair.
Barney Snow: (to Mazzo) Now there's a new memory. Of a time not long ago, when I was just like you.
Barney Snow: Even through the fog I was living in, the memories of you were most clear. Only you. Cassie, promise me that if a time ever comes that I don't remember any of this, tell me our story.
