(Eddy brings his gang into Bayliss's office, where they meet with TV station manager Ray Morrissey) Iris: Are you the guy's who's gonna put Eddy on the TV? Mr Ray Morrissey: Well, I don't know, miss. Eh, we came down to hear him sing. If he's anything like, uh... Iris: Oh, come *on*, pop! Eddy can sing rings around any of 'em! He can sing better than any of 'em - Eddy Crane: Shut up, Iris. Iris: But I just wanted - Eddy Crane: You hear what I said?

(Moon and the gang want Eddy to party down, but the TV folks advise abstention) Helen Tracy: There'll be plenty of time to celebrate later on. You could catch cold or something. Iris: What're you, his mother? Helen Tracy: I didn't - Eddy Crane: Iris!

(At the hotel, the gang parties, but Eddy is in a somber mood) Bob 'Moon' Mooney: ... the matter, man? Why don't you join the party? What's the matter, you afraid you might be catchin' a cold, man? Iris: Maybe you just wanna be with that freako nuthin' you've been makin' eyes with, huh? Eddy Crane: Get off my back, Iris. I'm thinkin'.

(the nebbish hotel manager, complaining about the gang's behavior, gets mocked for his trouble) The Hotel Manager: Whyyyy, you young hoodlums, I'll call the police! Bob 'Moon' Mooney: You say one word to anyone and I'm gonna *moon* you. The Hotel Manager: You're gonna what? Bob 'Moon' Mooney: MOON YOU!
