Kwest, man, you think I'm okay with this? Huh? That the coolest chick I know, the girl that gets me the most, is sixteen? Give me a break, man. She's out of bounds and I'm not that guy. Kwest: Good... but if she was twenty-one? Tommy Quincy: In a split second.
Tommy Quincy: For what it's worth, Shay's a kid, and an idiot. And he made the wrong choice. Jude Harrison: It's not worth much, coming from you. Tommy Quincy: What's that supposed to mean? Jude Harrison: I'm so tired of falling for guys that don't fall back. It hurts. Tommy Quincy: Jude, I - Jude Harrison: You all say the nicest things. "You're so great, you're so nice," but none of you want to date me. So you wanna help me, Tommy? Tell me what I do wrong. Tell me why I'm so easy to give up, and then maybe I can fix it. Jude Harrison: If I don't win I'm gonna look like such a dork at school tomorrow. Jamie: On the plus side most people already think we're dorks. Jude Harrison: Thanks, Jamie.
Shay: I thought I told you to wait in the car. Eden: What while you talk to your ex-girlfriend? Jude Harrison: Ex-girlfriend. What is she talking about, Shay?

(Tommy and Jude are in the tabloids) Kat Benton: So, no truth to this story, right? Jude Harrison: No, I'd tell you. Kat Benton: Too bad, 'cause you and Tommy look *so* cute together. Jude Harrison: Do you think so? Kat Benton: Oh, my God. Jude Harrison: Shut up. Kat Benton: Oh. My. God. Jude Harrison: Kat, I cannot like this guy. He's from a '90s boy band. Kat Benton: The man is like an Orlando Bloom sundae smothered in Johnny Depp sauce. Jude Harrison: Yeah, I know. But it's more than that, Kat. I mean, he teaches me stuff. Tommy Quincy: Look, working on a song... it's like falling in love. At first it's a rush, but then it gets painful and sometimes you gotta walk away. Jude Harrison: Then tell me, how do I not care what people think? Tommy Quincy: By caring more about what you think! Don't you *ever* ask anyone's permission to like your own music, you understand? Do you love that song? Jude Harrison: Yeah. I did. And then Jamie made me doubt. Tommy Quincy: Forget Jamie! Jude Harrison: You know I love it. Jude Harrison: I knew it, Kat! I'm not a total loser! He wants me! This is awesome! This is awesome! Kat Benton: Okay, well, what does it mean, exactly? Jude Harrison: I don't know. I have no idea. Jude Harrison: You gonna date the whole family, Tommy? Cause Mom's single now and Grams is pretty cute.

Jude Harrison: (after telling her parents she failed her chemistry test) It's not like I'm going to be a doctor. Victoria Harrison: Oh, honey we don't know that yet.
Tommy Quincy: When were you going to tell me you were doing the shay tour? Jude Harrison: When were you going to tell me you were doing my sister?
Kat Benton: Look, um, I was just wondering... is there any way I could interest you in going to the Spring Fling Blingity Bling? Jamie Andrews: Uh, you do remember the last dance we went to ended in tragedy? Kat Benton: Jamie, it was the sixth grade. I'm sorry the nachos gave you diarrhea. Jamie Andrews: Dysentery!
